The issue for this year is Climate Change, so on Naked Hungary we would like to talk about Carbon Footprint today. A carbon footprint is a measure of the impact our activities have on the environment, and in particular climate change. It relates to the amount of greenhouse gases produced in our day-to-day lives through burning fossil fuels for electricity, heating and transportation etc.

As we know most of Naked Hungary readers are people who tend to travel quite a lot, we thought of adding to this post a Carbon Footprint calculator, which not only makes you aware of your emissions of carbon footprint, but also gives you a choice of offsetting it by making an offer to the organization of your choice.

It’s pretty easy to use; enter the airport you are flying from, the destination airport, then calculate and, the most important part, choose to “Offset Now” and choose the way you prefer to do it.
